October 11, 2019—Assembly Bill 1086, which SDORC has been working to defeat, was vetoed by Governor Newsom. Click here for his veto message to the California State Assembly. You may recall this is the bill which would have authorized State Parks to sell an expansion area of the Carnegie State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA) for the purpose of conserving the land, thereby preventing its use for its intended purpose of expanding the SVRA.
