August 14, 2025—Johnson Valley Shared Use Area is currently closed to the public for critical military training through August 25, 2025. This temporary closure is essential to support vital training exercises, ensuring troop readiness and national security.
During temporary closures of the Johnson Valley Shared Use Area, the adjacent Johnson Valley OHV recreation remains open for public use. Recreationists are encouraged to exercise caution and strictly observe all posted boundaries to ensure you do not enter the closed Shared Use Area.
The area will reopen for public use on August 26, 2025.
