February 12, 2026—As a reminder, the Johnson Valley Shared Use Area is temporarily closed to the public until February 26, 2026, and will close again August 13–27, 2026, to support critical service-level Marine Corps training. This specialized training ensures troop readiness and capabilities essential for national security. And here are the newly announced closure dates for 2027:
