San Diego Off-Road Coalition (SDORC) has scheduled a trail clean-up at the location of the best-kept secret in the East County: the Young Rider Training Trails. The two trails are located next to the lower campground in Corral Canyon OHV area in the Cleveland National Forest. The clean-up will be held on Sunday, May 21, at 9:00 a.m.

Bring gloves, weed wacker if you have one, shovel, rake, etc. We’ll have sandwich fixings for lunch; bring whatever you want to drink.

This is a great spot. Young children on 50 cc and 70 cc vehicles can ride these trails while within view of a parent. This could be a day adventure or a weekend campout while the temperatures in our deserts are too hot.

These trails were designed, built and adopted by SDORC, whose members groom the trails. The project was funded by the Yamaha Access Initiative Grant and supported by the Descanso District of the Cleveland National Forest.

So, do the tracks need a little work? Take a look below and decide for yourself.
